(Cincinnati, Oh)  --  New Year's Eve celebrations are being held in and around Cincinnati to ring in the New Year.  Events scheduled Tuesday night include The Huntington Bank New Year's Eve Blast on Fountain Square from 8 PM-1 AM. The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is hosting The Big Easy New Year's Eve Concert & Ball at Music Hall. The Show starts at 7:30 PM. the Ball begins at 10 PM. Conductor John Morris Russell will lead an evening of jazz and big band favorites. The ballroom will be styled like a New Orleans-style club and serve Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres followed by a Champagne toast at midnight. Concert ticket prices range from $12-$90. Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati is hosting the First Midnight atop Horseshoe Casino. Doors open at 8 PM. Tickets are $30 pre-sale and $40 at the door. Hors d'oeuvres will be served with a champagne toast at midnight. The event benefits Give Back Cincinnati. Visit www.firstmidnight.com. The Casino is also celebrating the opening of their new $7 million pedestrian skywalk. The glass-enclosed skywalk spans 175 feet across the intersection of Ontario Street and Prospect Avenue, linking the Horseshoe’s parking garage to the second floor of the casino.  

The New Year’s Eve Kids’ Countdown at Newport Aquarium, will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013. Kids can ring in the New Year with music, dancing, and giveaways, At 5 p.m. Scuba Santa will lead everyone in an early countdown to 2014. The Kids Countdown is included in the admission price to Newport Aquarium.
