Listen to One Direction on iHeartRadio

The Westboro Baptist Church has found a new target in British heartthrobs One Direction.  The extremist group, that has a reputation for picketing at celebrity events, has added the boy band's July 19th concert in Kansas City to its protest schedule.

The group posted a message about One Direction on its site along with the announcement, saying the band was "a perfect representation of this filthy world."  The message referenced the boys' running joke of smacking one another's back sides on stage.

The joke seemed to be lost on the people at the Westboro Church however, who called Harry, Louis, Liam, Zayn and Niall "five perverts" whose "one purpose is to encourage the youth of this generation to pursue every lust their evil hearts can imagine."

Their attack on One Direction comes just after they announced plans to picket Taylor Swift's August 3rd Kansas City concert.
