(Over-the-Rhine) -- Construction on the Cincinnati streetcar line will pick-up where it left off, Thursday, but it will be a slow start.

Project manager John Deatrick says 100 workers were laid off during the City Council ordered pause, and some of them won't be rehired until mid-January.

On the day after Christmas, the next shipment of rails is expected to arrive.  Elm Street will be closed between Findlay and McMicken, for unloading.  And Deatrick says on Friday, crews will start putting them in the ground.
