(Hamilton)--The expected raise for some Hamilton County employees won’t be going into effect.
The Board of County Commissioners approved a motion that would take effect June 19 and authorize a performance-based salary adjustment. The motion would be contingent on general fund revenue.
County Administrator, Christian Sigman, said that data collected in April showed that Hamilton County is not meeting the contingency due to expenditure pressures in several departments.
SIgman said that Hamilton County will continue to review revenue and expenditures throughout June.
