(Kenwood, OH.)—On Friday TriHealth president and chief executive, John Prout, announced that a new facility in Kenwood will be built.

The new ambulatory building will be 112,000 square feet and stand alongside Interstate 71. The opening date is expected to be the end of 2015.

The old building will be torn down to make room for the new one.

The project will expand the current Group Health Kenwood office, and the TriHealth Cancer and Trihealth Heart Institute. This will allow the institutes on Bethesda North to add oncologist and cardiologists to the new building.

Diagnostic imagining will also be included in the new design.

The project will let the offices expand from five to eight adult primary care physicians and add six new specialists.

Scott Street Partners is in charge of the new development.
